Dear Friends of the Lake:
This is report two of two that describes the 2016 Year End Summary in regards to Water Quality and Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) projects that impact you and the well-being of the lake.
You should have received within the last week report number one in an e-mail from the FLLA regarding the Educational, Social and Fund Raising Programs for 2016.
2016 was a very busy year in regards to managing the water quality and AIS in Forest Lake. Approximately $322,000 was spent by our partners and the FLLA in executing these projects. Without the support of the Comfort Lake Forest Lake Watershed (CLFLWSD) and the City of Forest Lake none of this would have been possible. Please thank those organizations for their support of Forest Lake. These partnerships have grown each year and as a community and lake shore owners we are lucky to have such great partners. We know from talking to other lake associations that is always not the case. The source of the funding for 2016 was as follows:

The
funding by the FLLA was only made possible by your membership dues. It is
critical to the long term success of these programs that the FLLA remain a
vibrant and active lake association so we need your support and membership.
Your $40 membership dues are the best investment you can make in protecting
your lake property investment and the lake well-being.
Below is a Summary of these efforts during 2016 with some very interesting charts and pictures which we hope will make it easier for you to understand each of these programs.
